Meet the team

Every member of staff is an experienced IT recruiter who has an extensive network of professional contacts. Although each team member is fully trained in general recruitment, they also have developed their own speciality area. We work collaboratively to bring maximum insight to every recruitment challenge and we know that our staff are our greatest asset and we invest in them with on-going training and development.

I’m currently working at JNC and have been for just over 6 months,  It’s been a very good experience  for me so far at the beginning of my IT Recruitment career. I have learnt a lot about the IT sector and different recruitment strategies that I wasn’t aware of before from the experience I have around me in the office!

When I’m not in the office trying to find my candidates the next step in their career, you will either see me on the football pitch, in a pub or in Marbella.

Although I enjoy spending time on holiday in the South of Spain a goal for me this year is to try and explore more of the World with a trip to Bali possibly on the cards!

One fact about me: I’m a descendant from Scottish King Sir Robert The Bruce.

I’ve always had an interest in science and technology and providing some form of service to facilitate the advancement of both. It turns out I’m better placed to match requirements with people and help them on their way to something great.

Recently I’ve had a focus on Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Java Development and Data Science across the UK for multiple clients. Previously I have had extensive requirements for IT Support, Business Analysis, Project/Programme/Product Management.

I have been working in recruitment for 5 years, with the last 3 ½ focusing on purely IT based roles. These range from development to infrastructure to project management with pretty much everything in between, and also spanning many different industries. Although predominantly resourcing focused, I also manage a couple of our key accounts.

My favourite part of the role is being able to visit clients on site as it gives you much more confidence in trying to attract the right kind of people.

Outside of work I have recently bought a place in Lewes with my fiancé so a lot of my spare time is spent doing bits of DIY or sampling the local pubs! I also love visiting new places, both in the UK and abroad, with my favourite destination being Italy (food, wine, culture, sun... its got it all).

I have a wealth of management, training and recruitment experience gained within Financial Services. After joining JNC in late 2014, I have really enjoyed being able to positively influence the structure, strategy and direction of the business. My role encompasses many aspects of HR, Management, Finance and all the Back Office functions that keep the business running smoothly. I enjoy the challenge of endeavouring to keep the team on track in terms of compliance, process, structure and documentation, although this can at times feel like herding cats.

In addition, I manage key accounts within the business and my experience of the full recruitment cycle helps me to offer effective and pragmatic advice to our client and candidates. I am also not adverse to getting involved in producing and analysing MI for the business.

I enjoy spending time with my family and the odd ale or two (not generally at the same time!) and have been known to hog the limelight at Karaoke.
