Lead DevOps AWS Engineer (Python)

Our client are a leading London based organisation that are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join the department. The Lead will advise, mentor, support and provide technical leadership for 3-4 DevOps Engineers.

Our client design and manufacture digital products across their market, with a focus on serving customers who could benefit from greater choices.

Using the newest technologies and collaborating with like-minded partners in order to reduce production costs for the products their customers need and want, (they’ve researched, they know) the role here represents a chance to work at the cutting edge of their market.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with DevOps Manager to plan, support and implement technical solutions focused around AWS Services.
• Manage project and team resources (Budget & Time).
• Implement Real Time, scalable integrations and applications that can deal with unpredictable customer usage spikes.
• Manage IAM and access.
• Ensure the team and work produced is in line with best practice and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate Lambda libraries and implementations in order to suggest improvements.
